Quién Sabe Que Ayunas

Cuando ayunes, que no sea evidente, porque así hacen los hipócritas; pues tratan de tener una apariencia miserable y andan desarreglados para que la gente los admire por sus ayunos. Les digo la verdad, no recibirán otra recompensa más que ésa. Pero tú, cuando ayunes, lávate la cara y péinate. Así, nadie se dará cuenta de que estás ayunando, excepto tu Padre, quien sabe lo que haces en privado; y tu Padre, quien todo lo ve, te recompensará. Mateo 6:16-18 NTV

 

And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face.
